Hi there,
From Airport, there is a shuttle service and suburban train to Paris that you could take. Details here:

You could make your choice depending on where exactly you are planning to stay (not mentioned in your post). But either train or shuttle should both be good.
Regarding local travel, if your quesry is pertaining to getting around from one place to other, please refer to the transport section of the site:

If its related to touristic circuit of the city, then there are Car Rouges that offer a hop-pn hop-off circuit for Paris for one or more days.

Good ? (I don't know anymore it used to be

),there's one Indian restaurant called 'Rose of Kashmir' right off the Champs Elysées between 'Monoprix' and 'Fnac'. But if you venture just a bit more, there are two exeptionally good Indian restaurants not far from Rose of Kashmir itself- Indra' and 'Annapurna', though a bit high budgety (address from below mentioned link).

Its always recommended to ask specific questions while posting in forums to get the best out of your query. There are so many, the lecture on do's and don't could on and on but lets keep it simple- enjoy yourself and don't let temporary setbacks in French language bother you !
Enjoy your stay !
