Football World Cup- FIFA 2010 is just round the corner and fans all over the world are gearing up to get their best moments of football, either in South Africa, the host nation, or in their respective countries.


Official Village of the Supporters of Football World Cup FIFA 2010 will be right here in Paris at the foot of Eiffel Tower for all the fans of football in the city and the sub-urbs.


The Official Village of Supporters of Football world cup was launched during the last world cup in Germany with more than 8 million visitors in the participating cities. This time around, 9 South African cities and 5 cities elsewhere (Paris, Rome, Berlin, Sydney and Rio) will play host to the International FIFA Fan Fest and its village of supporters.


The official village of supporters of FIFA 2010 will be installed at the esplanade of Trocadero on more than 10,000 sq.meters surface with 2 fields of 1000 sq.m, demonstrations, 3D, a boutique to buy official licensed FIFA merchandise, snack stalls, a stadium like ambience etc. Fans will be able to watch all 64 matches of the world cup live from South Africa on giant screens installed at the village with commentaries by Chrstian Jean-Pierre, Bixente Lizarazu, Jean-Michel Larque and David Astorga. The village will be freely accessible to all and will be open everyday from noon to midnight for the duration of the football world cup from June 11th- July 11th, 2010.


In addition, there will be a giant screen installed at the Charlety Stadium in 13th district of Paris. The stadium will transmit all live matches of France, Algeria, Cameron and selected matches of other countries from June 11th onwards at 01:00 PM, 04:00 PM and 08:30 PM. Everyday, all the matches played at 08:30 PM, irrespective of the country, will be broadcast live. From June 26th onwards, all the matches from Eight-finals (1/8 finals) will be shown live at 04:00 PM and 08:30 PM.


Elsewhere, the city of Paris will come alive with fans and supporters finding company with each other watching live matches or re-broadcast proposed in different places such as bars, restaurants, clubs, stadiums etc. sharing a convivial moment with like minded football fans.
