Following a robbery at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris, visitors may be happy to learn that the museum is reopening its doors to public on June 11th, 2010.

It may be noted that five inestimable pieces of art were stolen from the museum on May 20th, 2010. These works of art are that of Pablo Picasso ("Pigeon aux petits pois"), Georges Braque ("L'olivier près de l'Estaque"), Henri Matisse ("La pastorale"), Fernand Léger ("Nature morte, chandeliers") and Amedeo Modigliani ("La femme à l'éventail").

On June 11th, 2010, the musuem of modern art of the city of Paris will reopen with the Exhibition Dynasty- a collective exhibition of 40 artists simultaneously held at the Tokyo Palace (Palais de Tokyo). Each of these artists will present one work at both these institutions thereby expanding their creative universe as well as putting accent on the complementary nature of these places.
