Amma was in Paris

Amma was in Paris

From October 25th-28th, the devotees of Amma thronged to the exhibition halls at Pontoise where Amma gives darshan each year. With each passing year, the number of those wishing to get a loving hug from Amma is increasing. This year was no exception. The first day itself saw more than 7,000 people at the venue in a mini-Indian festival like ambiance. Some enthusiasts made for the queue as early as 6 in the morning in order to get a timely darshan.

Like each year, the event was superbly organised despite the increasing number of devotees. Public amenities like eco-friendly toilets, a small space converted as children's play area, priority to people with special needs- handicapped, pregnant women, family with children, senior citizens etc., food stalls offering delicious Indian and western vegetarian cuisine, small boutiques etc. make it a visitor-friendly annual event to look forward to and indulge in.

With Parisian sun that shone brightly with Amma, we are left asking for more.
